That is the floor and the going rate at once — four rooms of carpet, cleaned properly, for two hundred dollars. Smaller jobs are charged at the $200 minimum rather than added to it, and every room after the fourth is $50.

Almost everything that goes wrong in this trade comes from treating them as if they were the same. A wand that is right for nylon broadloom will water-stain a solvent-only sofa and can ruin a viscose rug outright.

Professional truck-grade equipment
Heat, pressure and vacuum recovery well beyond anything you can hire for a weekend. It is the recovery that matters — putting water in is easy, pulling it back out is the job.
Solutions that are safe once dry
Chosen to be safe around children and pets after drying, and rinsed back to a neutral pH rather than left in the fiber. Nothing tacky stays behind to attract the next round of dirt.
Dirt, stains and odor — not just the surface
Odor lives at the base of the pile and in the backing. Surface cleaning moves it around; extraction takes it out of the building. Where it has gone into the pad we will tell you honestly.
Your carpet is the biggest filter in the house
It traps dust, dander and grit until it is full. Emptying it properly is one of the few cleaning jobs that measurably changes the air in a room.
Why carpet stops looking clean
It is not worn out.
It is loaded, and it is glazed.
Two things are happening at once. Dry, gritty soil works its way to the base of the pile where a vacuum cannot reach it, and every previous clean that used too much detergent and too little rinse left a tacky film behind.
That film is the real problem. It is sticky, it sits on every fiber, and it grabs the next round of dirt out of the air and off your shoes. A carpet cleaned that way looks good for a couple of weeks and then goes off faster than it did before.
The fix is not more soap. It is dwell time, agitation, and a rinse that actually takes the chemistry back out.

The price you are told is the price you pay
You get a firm number before anything is unpacked. If the job turns out to be bigger than it looked, that is our problem, not a change order. Nothing is added to your bill that you did not agree to in advance.

If a spot comes back, so do we
Some stains wick up from the backing a day or two later. That is normal and it is fixable. Call us within 14 days and we will come back and re-treat it at no charge.

Not happy with a room? It is free
We will re-clean it. If you still are not happy after that, you do not pay for that room. No argument, no form to fill in.

We will tell you when not to buy
If a carpet is delaminated, a rug will not survive a wash, or a floor needs refinishing rather than cleaning, we will say so and walk away from the sale. Being told the truth once is worth more than a job we should not have taken.
