The person who walks your house and gives you a price is the person who does the work and answers the phone afterwards. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson, a scheduler and a technician, because there is nobody in between.
Why we started
Because most of the trade is a race to the doorstep.
The business model that dominates this industry is a cheap headline price to get a technician inside your house, and then the real number once he is there. Three rooms for $89, and by the time the hoses are run it is $340 because of pre-treatment, protector, deodorizer and a "heavy soil" charge that was never mentioned.
It works, which is why it is everywhere. It also means the actual cleaning is rushed, because the money is in the upsell rather than the hour spent doing the job properly.
HomeWRX Floor Care is built the other way round. The price you see is the price you are quoted, the quote is confirmed before anything comes off the van, and the time saved by not selling to you on your own doorstep goes into dwell time, agitation and a proper rinse.
It is a slower way to run a route. It is a much better way to clean a carpet.

HomeWRX Floor Care is a new business in Kansas City, and we would rather say that plainly than pad the page with stock photographs of other people’s work and reviews we have not earned.
What you can judge us on today is the method, which is written out in full on this site step by step, and the guarantee, which is specific enough to hold us to. If a room is not right we re-clean it, and if it is still not right you do not pay for it. That is a real commitment on day one in a way that a testimonial never is.

The price you are told is the price you pay
You get a firm number before anything is unpacked. If the job turns out to be bigger than it looked, that is our problem, not a change order. Nothing is added to your bill that you did not agree to in advance.
If a spot comes back, so do we
Some stains wick up from the backing a day or two later. That is normal and it is fixable. Call us within 14 days and we will come back and re-treat it at no charge.
Not happy with a room? It is free
We will re-clean it. If you still are not happy after that, you do not pay for that room. No argument, no form to fill in.
We will tell you when not to buy
If a carpet is delaminated, a rug will not survive a wash, or a floor needs refinishing rather than cleaning, we will say so and walk away from the sale. Being told the truth once is worth more than a job we should not have taken.
